To cut things short, the story begins in a Math class where we randomly sat beside each other and somewhat became friends which wound up blossoming into a relationship that has begun since early January of 2012. Unfortunately for us, I'm a grade behind him?? due to fact that I'm a keener and advanced into Math a grade ahead of my own?? so while I'm in my grad year this year, he's off more than half way across the country for uni. Fortunately, I planned on going to the same university a few years ago so as long as I work hard and make it in, we will be reunited in a year, if all goes well.?
Building up a positive mentality to cope with this moment was tough. We knew it was coming before we began our relationship and we also knew we would be okay with support from each other. I'll admit that I was quite hesitant about stepping into a relationship with him just because I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to handle a long distance relationship. Now that it's all happening, I can only say that whatever happens, I don't regret giving in to having a relationship him; quite honestly, not a hint of regret since the start. I swear.
So far, I've just been trying my best to help him get organized for school. Thank goodness for technology! We are able to stay close via Skype, Facetime, and Google just to name a few staples in our new lifestyle together.?
It's quite a sad turn in our relationship but it'll be a valuable experience. I look forward to seeing him in December most but also look forward to catching up with him every day through technology. I will continue to work with him to keep our relationship going and most likely continue to share with all of you how we made things work out. Wish us luck! :)
